The Alberts Sessions

After a string of releases under the disguise of Cookin’ On 3 Burners, Mai Sonique steps out of the raw funk ‘n’ soul into a ukulele driven tropical paradise. While on a trip to Fiji and soaking up the beach bands of the South Pacific, Mai Sonique was inspired to take this infectious sound back to the studio and fuse it with some of the classic hits from the Alberts publishing catalogue. In Melbourne, over the summer of 2013, The Alberts Sessions was recorded and features ukulele virtuoso Sam LeMann, tropical instruments and some of Australia’s finest vocalists.
